Chapter III - The Poacher's Daughter

At last, Haelan has escaped the unicorn’s forest! At the tavern of a small town, a young woman’s presence elicits the contempt of the other patrons. He learns that she is from an exiled family- her father was driven out due to a curse that nearly brought the village to ruin. Sympathetic and curious about this peculiar man and his unfortunate children, Haelan tracks the girl to find her and her family at their isolated home.
